Maurice writes songs about his life as a traveler, wanderer and all the problems he meets in relationships and friendships. In his journey traveling the United States he found his style. His debut record contains songs about falling in love madly but having to let go and about moving on. It’s about seeking adventure and making swift decisions. He’s mostly influenced by classic Country and Americana music such as James Taylor and the Eagles, but also from modern-day songwriters such as Ryan Adams.

The band was formed 5 months after the return of Maurice. He had written down all his experiences and turned them into songs. Meanwhile he was looking for musicians that would understand his type of music and shared the same taste. He found David Gram, Stan de Kwaadsteniet, Danny van ‘t Hoff and Rafael Schwiddessen and together with these musicians they arranged the songs in May 2015 with the plans to have it ready by September to record a record. “Live Forevermore” was born in 3 rehearsals. That summer Maurice toured hostels around the country to try out his songs.

The record “Live Forevermore” was recorded in an old monastery far from the cities. Engineer and Producer Wannes Salomé and the band recorded “Live Forevermore” in 6 days in September 2015.
